I'm curious what people think ?
I admit I'm jaded and hate 99% of pc games. For example. Max Payne 3 came out and i did a lot of research on it and decided i wouldn't even bother playing it for free if i could. And I REALLY loved part 1 and part 2 was ok i guess (a bit boring)
Playing hacked older gta games online was a neat little novelty that wore thin real fast (using third party mods that enabled multi-player)
GTA IV comes out and i bought it (loooong ago) and to this day i have never had the slightest interest in playing online, nor will I ever.
It concerns me that Rockstar may put to much focus on multi-player crap for part 5.
I think pc gaming is in a sad situation and a lot of it ties in with multi-player bs. Not sure why game company's think they HAVE to add a multi-player component to all games. Either games look great but they are boring or the concept just sucks. For example i bought Battlefield 2142 and never even put the disc into my pc. I'm soooo sick of Future War based games the smell of one gets me running for the door. Just seems like an endless stream of cookie cutter boring games with nice graphics
Anyway i have no idea what GTA 5 online will be like but I'm gonna bet I won't be interested.
Does the addition of "Crews" make any difference to peoples votes ?? I think clan related crap (or similar) is just dump personally.

If GTA V multiplayer is like Red Dead's then yes - if not, then no. If it's like Max Payne 3 then definitely no. I loved Max Payne 3, but the MP is wank. Red Dead Redemption is the best multiplayer game I've ever played to be honest, so something like that would be phenominal.

+1
I like play as a lone wolf 1 vs all without any crews help.
But to be honest multiplayer is awesome, of course i like singleplayer more but after few months you get bored of it and only thing left is multiplayer, I like the competition when you can rank up, beat world records in races etc
surprised at the amount of yes votes i assumed more people would be like me and like single player only
thanks for adding your votes people
Is it really surprising? Multiplayer was honestly the saviour of GTAIV, after story was done there was hardly anything interesting left to do in single player, thanks to multiplayer I still play GTAIV from time to time even though I've had the game for almost 4 years.

Yeah most likely will play multiplayer. I'm very interested in those crews from Max Payne 3 multiplayer being placed into GTA V.
I am certain that V's multiplayer will be a mix of Red Dead Redemption free roam and Max Payne's Death matches and all that. Also, the multiplayer will be cleaned up, as in hackers(or modders) will be playing with other hackers when they get caught.
Although, permanent ban I believe should be better but the hackers will probably make new accounts and hack again or something..

The single player is a million times more important to me than the multiplayer. I would not care if they took the multiplayer out entirely. But I still voted yes in the poll. Of course I'll give it a try, and it's good to have to keep the game fresh after you've completed it.
Considering I got to level 10 in IV yes I will be playing it. I enjoyed the racing and free mode. I bought the game a year after it was released and still enjoyed it. Plenty of people still online. Obviously a lot of the game modes were dead but still. Plenty to enjoy.
I REALLY hope that GTA V follows the routes of APB for the multiplayer. APB is too underrated. It's concept is just amazing.
Maybe when you enter Vs multiplayer for the first time, you can choose what your crew style is - Criminal and Vigilante.
Vigilantes roll around arresting/killing/taking laundered money back from Criminals.
Criminals rob stores, etc.
For that they'd need to make a lot of guns. So in the menu you'd rent your guns (to keep gameplay fresh so you never 'have it all') And buy your cars. There would be pre-customized cars that you could also rent.
You could also make your own crew's garage. So you buy X amount of cars, and then customize them yourself, and these are the cars your crew members can take out and use. Bigger crews would cost more to handle etc.
*imagines buying some Huntley Sports and Turismos, customizing them with the same paintjobs, then when there is a huge battle between 2 other factions, my crew would roll in, in our sweet cars, with sirens and turrets mounted on the roofs, and taking everyone down. *
In the style of this cutscene... My crew would be STAG. But not futuristic. We'd just use SUVs

I hardly ever play mutliplayer ,and don't want to invest the time in the socialization needed to get the most out of it, and I never have.
However, in this poll, I voted yes, only because I anticipate that Rockstar is going to do something really cool with the fusion of the SP story and goals, creating a new type of rich MP gameplay that involves elements of the game other than just a shooting gallery, such as empire building, gang wars, customization of many things (cars, avatar, safehouses, businesses), and the ability to build up a rich persistent MP persona with all this. Maybe that is a false hope. We shall see.
yes, if it more like IV's multiplayer... no, (& i'm hoping it is NOT this) if it is more like MP3 & RDR's multiplayer.. it can have some features from RDR put in & improved.. but if its completely different from IV's multiplayer then it will be a big disapointment.
Co op was the best part of IV's multiplayer & V should have a few modes that are co op (bomb da base, deal breaker & hangman's noose were in IV), none of this DLC where they add new game modes later on in the same game.. it was ok if it was a separate game like they did with IV with a new story etc. but not like it was with MP3 & RDR
