I am trying to replace the vehicle collision sounds in the COLLISIONS.ivaud file but when I try to open it in GTA IVaud editor to replace the sounds it keeps saying cannot open compressed audio file, is there any other way to do this or no?



For reference, I'm pretty much trying to replace different sounds with sounds or speech from my mouth just for fun, so far I have changed the vehicle start sounds successfully. Modding programs I have are SparkIV, OpenIV, GTA IVaud Editor, and XVI32 Hex Editor

i think you are using the ivaud 1.1.5 version ,dont you? well you should know that it does not support compressed audio files so you will have to wait until the ivaud author releases the 1.2 version.(he promised it 2 years ago so dont expect to much)
