Crap weapons, cars, graphics (PS3), etc.

Is the reason something to do with there being more different game types (eg Mafia Work) in IV so therefore there is less room for quality in Free Mode?

The weapons are much better, not to mention contain a far greater balance.

The vehicles as a whole are the same besides a few added vehicles to TBoGT.

The Graphics are actually higher on IV, especially in Multilayer as your player models in TBoGT are very dull in detail, not to mention the overly awkward sprinting animation.

As for the weapons being lesser to accommodate for the more game modes, that's laughable.
There is still plenty of active room on the PS3's Blu-Ray Disc.

The weapons in TBoGT are lesser, due to all being the same, and most sharing the same animations such as stance and firing.

+1 Yep for me also TBoGT sucks at many aspects (cars, guns etc) IV & TLaD are much better

GTA IV has more cars online than gay tony

yeah they added vehicles in gay tony (police bike,bati, police cruisers,apc,tampa,bullet gt, etc) but they took out a lot of the original vehicles.

in the graphics department i believe IV looks much more polished. although the skyline of the city is much brighter and colorful in gay tony the actual graphics and animations are a little slopppy.

inclusions of the new interiors are great but with the reduction in speed from running you can barely run anywhere before someone buzzards you to death.

the weapons in gay tony are cool but are so "noob friendly". everything is extremely explosive.

i like the weapons though and wish they were in IV. with all the mods coming out i wont be surprised if someone imports all the cool stuff from gay tony into IV

Well I’m defiantly not trolling, but your responses are very interesting and surprising.

I suppose I have different priorities to the rest of you:

-Weapons in BOGT are simpler but more ‘explosive’ which is what I like
-There are fewer cars, but the cars I like are more present in BOGT.
-There are more hiding places (I have a thing for being able to go into buildings)
-Yes the Buzzards f*ck everyone up, but I’m the kind of tosser that likes to spend most of my time in them.
-The graphics may actually be lesser quality, but I consider a colourful, warm, sunshiny backdrop more important.
-I swear the characters run slower in IV … I’m inpatient

Weapons are overpowered, have long reloading , clips end too fast, explosive weapons causes big lags etc, overall TBoGT weapons sucks

Free mode in TBoGT is better simply because there's more to it. More/better weapons (C4 is my personal fave), parachutes, helis can go much higher, you can actually reach the top of the Rotterdam Tower and of course there's the buzzard.

It's not without it's faults: Lack of character skins compared to GTA IV and no 'no blips' option.
