I got Episodes and GTA IV both on the same HDD, GTA IV was rather painless, but my Episodes ran past the bank scene to where the credits roll as Louis walks down the street, my game crashed and I got an out of VIDEO MEMORY error, sent an error report to MS and rebooted, At the moment I'm downloading upgrades to Live for the game or something, never sure what the content is as far as I can tell...

The thing is this memory error, I have 3GBytes in the main system and a 1GB Vram card, so why is it crashing when the system worked before? Any ideas?

I did a reboot and will be trying to get it working again, shortly
One concern I've had with wanting to have the online status is that it's never a great idea to have AntiVirus running in the background while gaming, or any other behind the scenes software services that detract from system resources, so... What do you do? Which AV is the best for gaming perhaps? I use Avira mostly, though I do alter that, perhaps MS SE? Not too sure

Maybe you should lower the game settings within the menu, maybe that will solve it.
