Here in Illinois, 102 in 4th of July yesterday, went up to 104, and it's 101 right now. God this heat is implausibly usurious. My house has AC though, thank god. But when I step out, the blasted rut just automatically tones up my body. I end up sweating 20 seconds later.
Not to mention that there isn't any way to cool down in any form of water or piddles. The beach just a few blocks from my home is always packed with a sh*tload of people with their families, with their family's family's friends. The public pool's water is always tempestuous, and of course - packed. The news are informing people about deaths caused by heat strokes, and dehydration. Hell, even kids are setting of damn Fire Hydrants to cool off.
The worst part, this damn wave will be going on for about a week or two!

47°C here in Lecce (south Italy) Stop complaining.
No it wasn't. Post a link to a weather station that recorded that temperature and then, maybe I'll believe you. You probably saw it on a sensor exposed to the sun, or when you got in a car that was left outside under the sun.
Jesus.. It's 35°C in here.. You'd say " Its not that hot.. " But in Lithuania, we are not used to that hotness, we are used to 20-25°C But not 35°C! Im burning right now..
Currently 100f outside, and I'm about to fire up the grill to cook up a fat steak. If you don't hear from me in a day or two please come check my backyard for my passed out body.
It's so f*cking hot that I have my AC set on power saver mode at 82f and it has yet to shut off.

This midwest heat wouldn't be so terrible if it was sooo humid. It's impossible to cool off because sweating doesn't help when it's this moist outside. Yet we're also in a really bad drought, it's not good.

Finally starting to cool down here in Indiana. Down to low 70's and low 80's for the high.
Last night was perfect we went bar hopping and walked everywhere since it was so nice.
Same for Ohio. Today was great. If the whole summer was just like this, I'd be pretty satisfied. Hit 98 in Cleveland, and 101 in Akron. Damn, my relatives in Florida wanted to vacate up here for a while! My aunt who visited these last few weeks from Albequerque wanted to go back to the cooler air

It's not even noon and its about 32 celsius (90F) and the air inside the house is as sticky as semen. I'm staying in the basement where its cool
It's cloudless outside and I can actually see some smog on the horizon
If my friends pool wasnt full of algae I'd go swim in it. I'll be in NYC tomorrow where its much the same
I've dealt with two different temperature extremes. It was about 40C is philly a few years back and we left the ball game during the bottom of the 4th inning, it was just too deadly.
It was -60C a few years back and I got frostbite within a 10 minute walk to school

I bet, what with all the polar icecap melting and all. One link I came across in the WA Post I believe, all slanted toward a Biblical wake up call, The end times are still upon us?!?
Have a hard time believing mere words? Perhaps the smell of your skin burning would aid you?? haha
Check this road mishap in Wisconsin, USA
"was Heading back into Eau Claire, WI from the 29 overpass we stopped to look at this massive ramp like crack that most cars slowed down for and recieved some damage. Then this happened
