First off, I did a search and found nothing on this, so here goes:

The "Edit" post button is not working the last few days-anytime you hit it, it is like you hit "add Reply" instead, which I hit the back button, so I don't double post..This happens on Windows XP with Firefox and on Windows 7 with Firefox(Firefox version 3.6xx on XP) and the latest version of Firefox on Windows 7..It does this on IE 8 as well(this is the latest version of IE for XP, so I can't update to IE 9 on this PC)...Just a heads up about this problem...

I can edit pretty okay. Have you tried editing a post and see what happens when you click submit?
Besides, I had a similar error. It happened that every time I tried editing a post, the whole post to edit in the box disappeared after about half of second after getting to that editing page. The box used to turn blank. I remember that restarting Firefox used to work, but I suppose you already tried that.

Have you tried clearing your cache?
