Youre right, there is. But the number of those people is slowly decreasing as the age of the fans who played it in '02 goes up and up.

At least in the Indian sub-continent, it's popularity won't go down. Not a lot of people here own gaming consoles, let alone the current generation ones. Two of the most widely used electronical gadgets here in India are:-PC and mobile phones. But even in their cases, most of them are not "up to date" as in a lot of "developed countries". So generally, people who want to play, play "really old games" on "really old computers".To make things more amusing to the western folks, GTA Vice city and the likes are still talked about as if they are "new" games for people aren't easily exposed to games here. So the bottomline is that GTA Vice city won't lose it's popularity in India and it's neighboring countries for the foreseeable future.

I am also an INDIAN but here in my place most of the guys love SA much then VC...but may be due to large no. of fans VC can never go down but there GTA V is also coming it may also possess a threat to VC ??What do you think ??

Vice City is epic game, my personal favourite mainly because of epic soundtrack, atmosphere, storyline it will never gets old . I still play VC regularly as well as other GTA III era games, in fact I have completed VC 34times and I still play it , I will never stop playing it, for me this game is really unique. Besides that people play GTA III and even top-down GTAs even today, so I would say VC is still very popular .

Here also were polls about 'What is the best GTA' and SA won at every poll,but VC got once second place and twice 3th. Plus GTA VIce City.

Look, obviously newer games will get more hype since there are new players, and much of them just cares about graphics! But Vice City is a classic game, it will never be forgotten because is one of the best games ever made!!

VC is a classic. Unlike some I didn't abandon it to jump on the SA bandwagon. Sure it has a small map and irritating controls, but it feels so authentic.

I like VC's simplicty more than SA's "jack of all trades" appoach. It's also not dull and depressing like GTA III where half of the city wants you dead.

I consider it to be like goldilocks. Not too little or too much. Just right.

I don't think Vice City is over, we'll someday see a return to Vice City, seriously, I would prefer having Vice City in GTA V then Los Santos.. sorry for those people who prefers Los Santos more. So Vice City won't be forgotten until a new gta game will set in Vice City.

Vice City is STILL my favorite GTA game out of the whole series and Tommy Vercetti is my favorite GTA protagonist. The game was simply pure, sheer excellence for it's time. No one will ever forget how great it was.

No need to worry, Vice City will always be remembered by most gamers as a legendary, golden classic game, especially by big GTA fans.

I agree 100%.

Vice city was the first GTA I ever played meaning it has a special place for me unlike no other GTA.

I'm not too keen on the 4 era though, I'd prefer to play III, VC and San Andreas again rather than IV and V.
