A really sad topic .Will GTA vicecity will be taken over and lose it's popularity due to the other GTA Games like GTA sanandreas,GTA IV ,GTA V .What do you think guys???

Currently the GTA III is at top of all Renderwares, but I think this will change if Rock*Star will release mobile edition of VC + action figure of Tommy Vercetti. And this one better be cheaper!
Of course, if both Stories games gets a PC release, they will shadow up original VC, but that's not gonna be forever, as VC is going to become a classic, as the III did.

You're right,except the Stories part.LCS and VCS both got released on the PS2,and they are good games,but the popularity of VC is bigger than those 2 games together.

Yes ,I also think that Vice city is less popular than Sanandreas but there are many who mostly like Vice city than sanandreas .By the way I like Sanandreas much more than Vice city.

I like San Andreas more than Vice city a lot too..
But I still play that game, love that story.
But unfortunately, I think Vice City will be less popular
that the new GTA'S cause many people these days
thinkn that games just need good graphics and sh*t.

IMO Vice City is already over. It's popularity has been taken over by San Andreas and San An will probably be the only GTA 3 era game to live on after GTA V. Don't get me wrong, there still will be some hardcore modders, but in a year or so that number will've decreased rapidly.

Although this is the first GTAgame I played (when I was seven), the game doesn't really have a special spot in my heart like GTA 3 or San An does.

I don't think the popularity will change more. Those who like other games better have already "left" Vice City. Those who love it will stay. I don't think it'll change.

Personally I love Vice City and I will never ever leave it. I found San Andreas pretty crap, and I'm not sure why people like it but hohum. To each their own.

VC is a golden classic now. Just like III and SA. But SA has been more popular than VC for many years already.

Vice was my first GTA, i will never forget it, it is also my favorite III era game, it is just awesome, SA was a little too over the top for my taste.

soundtrack, protagonist and atmosphere... while the popularity of GTA VC's gameplay is obviously inferior, those three elements will be remember forever, no matter what.

Tommy vercetti is still the popular one... maybe niko is as popular as him between gta fans, but thanks to ray liotta's voice, tommy is the only protagonist that is remembered the most between non-fans

VC has already lost its popularity because of the newer games. Its graphics and everything from 2002 can't compare to games from post 2008 so sadly, VC is only popular with GTA fans. "Ordinary people" buy new games such as Assassin's Creed, LA Noire, Skyrim and such.

Yeah, but remember that there still are alot of people who can't affroad a PC strong enough to handle RAGE or similar stuff, and they are still playing R/Ware GTAs even if they don't understand english/any language used in GTA.
