I want to drive in gta iv with steering wheel. with pedals working really good. Like you press a little and car goes just a little.


Problem with my wheel is that the game doesn't see it at all. No nothing.

My wheel is sector 7 and I used -usedirectinput commandline and nothing.

I had another wheel before but that only steering worked. The pedals would make camera go up and down.


Please help me Im losing my mind here. I searched everywhere for a tutorial and nothing that works!

Okay I used xpadder to map the controls.

pedals as 2 buttons W,S

steering as sticks A,D

it works in game but it has deadzone! I dont want deadzone. I want it smooth. Please help!

Try google but you have to remember GTA IV wasn't designed for steering wheels.

I did so many times. I can't find anything.


I got everything working fine but IT HAS DEADZONE! Doesn't work smooth. I press my pedal just a little and I mean JUST A LITTLE and car goes zooming through the city.
