I don't know if something like this has been posted before but check this out, I just made it. (Note: I added contrast/sharpness to make sure you guys can see as much detail as possible.)






Thoughts:

I really think there will be three different protagonists and that we will be able to choose who we want to play as so we can experience the story multiple times through different perspectives and different missions. Think of it as the TBoGT and TLaD Grand Theft Auto 4 DLC - except this time it's actually in the game.

There will be missions you do together but you don't get to play that character or see his PoV unless you choose to play him in the beginning of the game.

Each story will have a different ending yet their worlds will collide, similar to GTAIV's story.

This is a good thing because when actual GTAV DLC rolls out, we will get something very special instead of more characters...if my theory ends up being true.

By the way, I am sure some of you have had the same theory but I am just laying it out in front of everyone with a detailed picture. Thanks for reading.

I don't think we have enough information and proof to say something like multiple protagonists. They might just be main characters in the plot

i'd hate ANY of them being main characters to be honest, but if have to choose anyone out of these three than i'd rather go with second choice - balcony guy...OMG and playing as a bum really? no thanks... i just hope they're temporary operate together and not related anyhow to each other and i sure as hell hope we don't have to play as those bum...

Except I wouldn't mind the balcony guy being the main character. I actually think it'll be interesting and would look forward to it. Well....from what we know so far.

I don't want to play a bum. And I am not sure about the hispanic guy.

Maybe the main character isn't even in the trailer

The first two seem plausible but the third one seems a bit far fetched... why would some random bum suddenly be hired by a bunch of dudes to go rob a jewelry store? What skills could he possibly possess which got him the position of a shooter/robber

Yeah.

The bum and the guy third guy robbing the store look kind of similar but also a bit different.

I guess that could be because the bum got "cleaned" up but....I don't think the third guy in the store scene is the bum. Who knows.

The homeless dude and the guy jumping out of the van have the exact same haircut, and also look very similar. Is that "nervous jerry" from the Rush thing? And Simon is the hispanic dude?

On topic: yeah, there have been some protagonist montages before though I don't think any one so far highlighted the bum; also this might be a candidate for the trailer analysis thread, but if it's not, why not.

As for the bum: do you remember that guy in Vice City that you hired to break open the vault at the bank? He worked as a locksmith or something right?
What if he was fired one day because of economic troubles? He might end up on the street, and could be holding a "need money for beer - hey, at least I'm not bullsh*tting you" sign, and you might meet him by coincidence and ask him to join in the heist after he tells you how he ended up there (and about his skills) to break open some sort of vault at that jewelry store.

I'm sure that if R* so desired, they could also make him one of the protagonists, if there are multiple.

I don't think it's too likely though.


Btw, people will probably not be pleased that you left out the black guy running from police, some still believe he's CJ

well it looks like theyve shown each character equally in the trailer. it leads me to believe that neither of them are the protagonist, and he just hasnt been shown yet.

for some reason alot of people believe in the whole multiple protagonist theory, but i think thats crazy. i mean no offence, but it just doesnt sound like GTA to me.

yeah indeed...it sounds like it'd fit some kind of side scroling beat'em up (Double Dragon or Streets Of Rage anyone? ) but not freeroam open world game...

Uh... what about EFLC? That worked pretty well imho.

The thing I liked most about the episodes: Yusuf Amir.

I'd buy a complete game about him any day.

BWpunisher: I see what you mean, multiple characters within the SAME storyline might be weird; but what if they had 3 different storylines (that might intertwine) in the main game? Then I wouldn't see a problem.
