When you would stand on a moving vehicle on GTA IV you would just fall and drop. I wanna be able to grab onto something(Spoiler,Sun(moonroof)back seat if its a convertible). On a boat i dont want to fall down as soon as the boat starts gaining speed.Or if you're on a pickup truck. I want to jump into a bed and still have the same Physics as in GTA IV when falling but staying inside instead of a force field

Yeah hanging onto something would be cool. I hated falling off the roof even if they drove 1cm

If you stood on a car in real life and it took off you would slide off if you fell... but yeah i would like the option to grab on to it like that one mission where you are dangling from a truck.

But, this is not real life...

I personally do not like realism, I have real life for that. I loved getting on top of cars in San Andreas and shooting passing pedestrians as the frightened driver sped away, just for me to stay firmly on his roof. Now with the new physics system, you can't do that, so I think there should be a way to hold on to the seam near the windshield or something and be able to shoot with your pistol.

You're right. I don't get why we couldn't do that. So much for "Realism" eh IV? You can hang onto a truck for one mission and the rest of the time, no truck for you! Apparently niko just completely forgets how to do that right after the mission.

yeah too much realism can suck but i don't want to feel like I'm playing in a cartoon either. If im just standing normally on a car while its going top speed that would look ridiculous. i could see it working if you were crouching and actually holding on to the vehicle. but if you fall you should almost side off but be able to catch yourself and have to pull yourself back up again. and if you fail you simply fall off.

There should be an option when you're on a bike or in a car you should be able to jumb if on bike or go on your roof if on car then jump.Onto the back of a tractor trailer and (each tractor trailer or most of them will have different stuff) You climb to the front where the cab is then you Kick the window,Shoot the driver,or pull the driver out.Then you stop the truck in a place with less people(secluded) and check out the trailer. Empty,full of (cash,jewls,gold RARE)Food deliveries,cars,bikes, sports-cars,Animals,People (You can free them),bombs, appliances(Sell them or for your house),And Mixed items. you can do this with crews

You have a point. If you have ever played Uncharted they have a few parts where something like that happens. Maybe you have to tilt the controller to stay balanced and when you fall off you grab onto the side and have to rapidly tap a button to get back up.

Sounds cool. By the way, have you been playing Just Cause 2 recently? Because I do recall it having features like that. Cool, fun features like that, that is.

I want to be able to stand in a pickup bed, at the very least.

In the GTA 3 era games, I loved jumping on top of a car, shooting the roof of it and then trying to stay on as long as you could as the driver freaked out and started driving dangerously to get away (with you still on top). It was a good challenge, especially going around corners.

It could be as simple as crouching when you are stood on a moving object and it wont knock you off and make you stumble about like a drunk.

It would also be cool to hang on to parts of cars if they drive off like the roof of vans but press something as to not fly off.

I loved standing on cars in SA and just seeing where you end up.
