Actually the time is over. 80% of the sales are in the first two months. It makes no sense to market a game longer than these two months after the release. That's a waste of money at all if it comes to Max Payne 3, a game that didn't sell well. It's normal that Rockstar promote the DLC packs but the main marketing so the marketing of Max Payne 3 NOT DLCs is already done. They can promote the DLCs of a past game and a new big game at the same time. Rockstar did it in the past. They promoted Red Dead Redemption DLC packs and L.A. Noire at the same time. L.A. Noire was released in May 2011 and the last RDR DLC came out in September 2011. Rockstar even cancelled a couple Max Payne 3 DLCs to make 3 big instead of 5 small packs.

I agree with Carl CJ Johnsons Brother Brian that Max and GTAV can co-exist. There's not an expiration date that Rockstar has to wait for to talk more about V.

I know it is, i was just counting 4 months from may. (2 for delay, and 2 after)

2012 could still happen, if it dont im not going to go mad and cuss R*, who i have the utmost respect for since they bought DMA and have made their games worth playing.(unlike some, which i wont mention to prevent flame war)

I think i have about 1 or 2 games that arent made by them, so it would be extremely hypocritical of me to slag them off....

Next finance conference in November will be interesting. If we don't hear anything about GTA V until November then I wouldn't be surprised if TakeTwo correct down their predictions and delay the game to FY'14. Now I think the release could be 2012 but 3 months isn't far away so we'll see...

i got soo much hate on take two...

the extra booth in 'halle 9' wasnt a booth..it was just a small bus with borderlands2 paintings on it

and TakeTwo was the only one who checked the id's if you wanted to play borderlands 2 -.-

also asked a gamestop-worker about gta v, just wanted to know his personal opinion..due this lack of info he expects a release in 2013

im 17 and turn 18 in 2 weeks...at the official entry of gamescom you get a wristband (green=12, you can play all games, excluding games rated for 16- and 18 years old only...blue=16..red=18) me and my friends cheated and got a red wristband instead of a blue one so we were able to play everything (far cry, crysis, resident evil,...) but at taketwo booth they were the only ones checking the actual id's of all persons, they didnt care that you already got a red 18 wristband -.-

I just got back from a full week at GC for our site. We visited Take Two in the businesscenter which is where all the behind closed doors presentations are. No GTA V, as expected of course. I really think none us us should expect.anything. With Rockstar it.can be any day..which could be sooner or later.
