Okay. Here's a theory.
Since we speculate GTA V will release in October 2012 at this point, take the month and th final two digits of those together. We will get 1012.
- Since Rockstar was founded in 1998, they have developed 25 games. (L.A Noire was developed by Team Bondi and published by R*)
- Take the 2405, and take out the 40. Divide 1012 by 40 and you get 25.3
- Since we removed the 40 from 2405, we also get 25.
- We multiply 25 by 26, since after GTA V there will be 26 games.
- We get 650. Multiply that by 2. You will get 1,300
- Subtract 1,300 from 2,405 and you will get 1,105
- Now subtract by 25, 26, then 25.3, then by 9.24 (Take Two's Share hold right now), then by 11 (the month the first trailer was released).
- You should have 1,008.46. Add 4 (years since GTA IV). You should have 1012.46
Expect GTA V by mid month October.
OT: I have my doubts about GamesCom, but who knows. Oh, and don't believe the above theory. Complete bollocks. In fact. I just made it up.

| QUOTE (Vanzant @ Sunday, Jun 24 2012, 17:19) | | What is RockStars relationship with GamesCom before? |
Much better than E3. After they've stopped going to that, they've continued with actual booths and previews showed behind closed doors as lately as last year (last year was only previews of LA Noire PC I believe, no booth). Before Gamescom, the Leipzig Games convention was the big event in Germany. They went to that every year, and moved across to Gamescom when the Leipzig one fell flat. Previews for LCS, VCS, GTAIV console and GTAIV PC was shown during the German conventions to press, which followed soon after with either their online or print previews. It's much more cost effective for Rockstar International because more games press actually goes to Gamescom than to E3, so I think they like to take advantage of that when there's so many gathered together. I can't remember which, but one of the years they distributed screenshots at the show (remember writing about it on a fan site). Might have been GTAIV PC, it wasn't the console version I know.
