I have core 2 quad cpu with 2 gb ram,2.4 processor and 256 nvidia gforce g100 graphics card
But when i run Gta sanandreas on windows XP SP 2.It says (gta sanandreas requires atleast directx version 9.0) the problem is that i already have that and when i try to download and install it,it says that u already have got the latest version..............please help me out of this

Quad Processors, are you using affinity "0".
Is your game version 2 (DVD)?
Are you playing with that DVD in the Drive?

no i have installed the game i ve run it on windows 7.But now i have changed it to windows XP and it doesent run now and i dont know what do u mean by affinity.This happened with me before but when i changed my windows it worked but i cant change my windows everytime

Generally if the game had run correctly before and suddenly stops, the quick fix is to Delete the GTA_SA.set File.

Since you playing the game in Win7 have you tried using W98 compatibility mode,
with Administrative Privileges?

And... before people here begin investing a lot of time trying to fix a possible NO-FIX situation:
What Version (retail, steam, other online store) Edition 1, 2, 3?)
Details of How you are playing:
1. With the Original DVD in the Drive?
2. OR are you Using a No-CD crack? (There is No fix to be found on this Forum.)
3. OR are you Using a 'backup' disc? (Fix is to use the Original DVD.)
4. OR do you have a Downloaded game from Direct2Drive, or SteamPowered.com
5. If none of the above, then what is the origin of your game? (Please be specific, as otherwise there may not be a fix to found on this Forum.)

download 'version' can mean two or three.
Did you buy the Download from Direct2Drive or SteamPowered.com or bought from where?
Or did you download a 'Free' (warez/torrent) Pirated game. No fix if you did..

Have you tried using W98 compatibility mode?
Are you playing it with Administrative Privileges?
