Should be enough for just about all latest games wink.gif

Though, I should rather go for a GTX670 or an HD7870 / HD7950 icon14.gif

Ok thanks, someone suggested an 7870 but earlier i think on toms hardware amd traded the image quality for conformance in 7000 series confused.gif

I will do some series overclocking wit the card though. I will get to GTX580 stock if things go well.

In this list which will overclock the best:

1280MB is enough. But still, I'd go for HD7870.

amd and nvidia use different ways of calculating their cores.
http://superuser.com/questions/442712/what...ia-and-amd-gpus
plus ati has two ways to address the number of cores they specify depending on the card chipset.
http://forum.beyond3d.com/printthread.php?t=61594&pp=75
edit: i think i found a better article that really explains...

My 5450 has 1GB of vRam, the game is running alright, so far. Not maxing out, but I believe the GDDR is up to 3GBs nowadays, that's impressive. However, some stats are SHARED with System Ram, and other cases, the vRAM is not fully utilized and the card has other issues that crimp the overall performance so keep doing needed research on a card by card basis

If you're talking about the 7950/7970, no, they don't use shared RAM. The 5450 on the other hand, I don't think so either.

Nah, Shared Ram is more dependent on the platform, and perhaps BIOS settings, I wouldn't worry about that at all just selecting a card by itself

What???

I'm pretty sure the High-End GPU DON'T use Shared RAM. Some Low-End ones do. Unless you bought and tried one, then you don't know what the hell you're talking about.

I'd change the PSU, CM GX series were average at best. Not to mention you don't need anything near 700W.
