[Emotion98.3]

Hey guys, just ordered a laptop for college but whever I look on the internet, I really can't find anything about this GPU, I'm not sure if its too new or what, but I figured you techies could solve my problem.

Right now at home I have a

Intel Core2Quad (2.5Ghz, 4 Cores, No HT)
4GB RAM (Not sure the DDR)
ATI Radeon HD 5770 (1gb)
500gb Harddrive
Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit

All running on a 1080p Television, and I get pretty good gameplay for GTA 4.

Just ordered a Dell Inspiron 15R Special Edition

15" Full HD 1080p LCD/LED Screen
Core i7 3612QM (It says 6m Cache, and up to 3.1ghz Overclock or something) but it does have Hyperthreading so it's 4 real cores and 4 simulated cores correct?
AMD Radeon HD 7730 (2gb)
8GB DDR3 RAM
750GB Harddrive


Now I don't know alot about the GPU other than the middle two number's mean the most of what you get, Like I have a 5770 which is better than a 5750. Now I don't know if the 5770 is better than the 7730m, But its two generations apart so again I don't know on what kind of gameplay I'm going to get with GTA 4. Now I do know GTA 4 relies on CPU also, so the i7 should cut it since its alot faster than my Core2Quad. I just need some light shed on the 7730m. xD

7730M is a second class gaming product for laptops link
Should be decent, but I expect it to be slower then 5770 as that one should have 800 cores at higher frequency then 7730M which should have "only" 512 cores.

i think that gpu will perform something like a hd 4850/9800gt... turn vehicles setting to 1, instead of 51 and get a laptop cooler.
