Well, when I tried to kill Salatore, I drove my car close to the sex club, making me being spotted and making Leone's men shooting at my car with shotguns. Then I jumped out of the car when I saw it was going to explode, then my car exploded, causing Salvatore's car to explode too.

I went to his mansion and blocked his garage with a Coach. Then I waited for him, armed with an M16, and when he arrived, blew his car up.

EDIT: When the garage opened, I guess the Coach prevented it from closing, so it was opened for the rest of the game.

You're making me jealous.

I wanted to kill Salvatore myself, but instead he was killed in a car explosion when his men shot at my car, causing both my car and Salvatore's car to explode.

You can actually go around the back of the building across the street and get up on the roof, it's a perfect vantage point to use a sniper rifle and headshot him.

Down the street from the club where Salvatore is (heading in the direction of Chinatown), there is a club called Meeouch Sex Kitten Club Meeouch Sex Kitten Club - GTA Wiki, if you back the character into the corner next to the double doors the screen will say you have entered Chinatown, in this corner the mafia cannot spot you unless you tip them off by firing at them before you shoot Salvatore. When the mafia start positioning themselves to guard Salvatore when he comes out, they will leave a gap open between themselves and if you are positioned correctly in this corner you have a perfect shot of Salvatore as he leaves the club and walks to his car.

This plan like the others isn't perfect, there are three things that can botch this: 1. As you are in Chinatown according to the game triads will attack you if they spot you while they are walking down the street, you also have a risk of police intervention if they notice you gunning down any triads, 2. While super-rare you could end up losing sight of Sal as he walks into the spot where you take the shot if a car happens to run through that light at that exact second and 3. If you don't have your cross-hairs positioned in the exact spot when the mob starts getting in position you could miss your time-frame.

But this is pretty much the easiest and almost hassle-free way to kill Sal as long as you know where to position yourself and are quick with the rifle.

If I remember correctly, I waited for him at his garage, and blew the car with a grenade, which killed Claude too. Fun thing about this - I got the message ''Wasted'' together with ''Mission Completed'' - that's a rare combination!

There is a building across from luigis club that has stairs in back to climb on the roof. Sit up there and snipe him.
Hint: if you stand on the lip the guards will sometimes see you

Yeah that's how I did it. I was standing on the ledge the first few times so I would always get spotted and he would run, but after that I stepped off the ledge, still had a perfect shot and killed with ease.

Last time I played that mmission, I sniped him. I also have a question. Are the mafia still in front of the club after you kill Salvatore? Because I even made up a whole escape plan to not be caught by them.

I sniped him from the roof and then throw a grenade, exploding his vehicle and killing his guards.
