Hello, I am new to modding car textures. Till now I was only modding the game with cars other people made and I want to upgrade myself by making cars on my own!
I want to make a paint job for a car in the game (e.g. Huntley Sports), how do I do that? Can someone direct me to a guide or something because I was looking the internet for hours and nothing.

the car must have the PJ feature, otherwise it wont show up on the car

Thank you for you fast replay. But I want to clear up something: I didn't edited the car yet and I am new, I never edited a car before and I don't know what is PJ, so I will be glad for an explanation.

well, there might be some tut on the internet (because i can't learn u how to even tho i am a modder).

well, i can do something.

for shader u must use paint3 (instead of paint1)

then u gotta have the textures in this order:

Texture UV1 (just the white one)
Texture UV2 (the paintjob (PJ) named xx_sign_1 ("xx" can be changed with anything u want))
Dirt UV1 (normal dirt texture)
Spec UV1 (just the white texture)

THX but if you are talking about a program, then what program? Zmodeler?

yes, Zmodeler is the only one u can use. but u gotta buy it tho to use all of it's features

Oh, where is the UV1\UV3 you are talking about? in the materials editor? can you guide me step by step I never used this program before...
And by the way I found a crack for Zmodeler.

well, IV doesn't use UV3, only UV1 and UV2

but i guess u shall ask on Zm's forum, since u'll get much better help there because i'm really bad at helping ppl because of that english isn't my first language
