The rules might of changed but the game is still the same. The governor of Liberty city is proud to present a new system of defense, The National Task Force of Defense. We are a military clan in the city of sins also known as Liberty City, we defend and protect the innocent and bring forth the safety that the citizens of Liberty City deserve. We do not choose to be known as just another military clan but I would like to think of us as an organization with goals of not becoming the best but becoming fair and balanced. We do alliances with other military clans or organizations of that matter but we also accept alliances from MC's Mafia families, etc... We plan on making our military clan as strong as it could get and as balance as it can get. War is always happening in Liberty City, corruption is always happening, tension spreads throughout the city and we are here to keep everything under control. With the proper planning and actions, we could complete anything. We do not take territories or any neighborhoods what so ever but we do have locations that we call either bases or headquarters. We are a military clan and I feel that having territories and calling it our own isn't necessary. Hopefully people could respect our ways of operating and managing.
We go by a certain motto "Semper pugnae, numquam retro descendit", it means "Always fighting, never back down".

Main Atoll, South Pacific August 17th, 1942
The Makin Atoll was invaded by the Japanese and the Koreans, they had captured a unit of the 2nd Marine Raider Battalion and they had to be rescued. A newly established company named Op X, led by Corporal James "J.C." Clovis, was assigned to take over the island and rescue the POW's, they came up with a fool proof plan that they called Operation Capture the Flag. The plan was to split the company in three groups, 1 group of three sneaked in a Sniper Tower where they provided long distance protection, 1 group surrounded the location where the POW's were and waited until an explosion happened which was the distraction, and the last group were causing the distraction so the POW's can escape. The plan went perfect, with the POW's safe Op X took the island with such great force.
The battle results were unbelievable, no Americans dead or injured but all the opposing forces were dead and the island raid became an American Victory.
Peleliu Airfield November 20th, 1944
After the courageous act made by Op X they were assigned to something new. Instead of rescuing more POW's they were assigned to assist the 1st Marine Division in taking the Peleliu Airfield. The Airfield contain x amount of AA's and they had to be destroyed or taken from their control. Corporal Clovis had came with the strategy known as "Ricocheting". That strategy disabled the AA's by shooting the shooters from a long distance with a sniper one by one. Three AA's were disabled and the Air Force joined the party. The Marines had a few dead and alot injured but that didn't stop them from completing the take over.
Op X was stationed in Peleliu for a week along with the Marines. After battling the Japanese for over two months for the island, Op X finished the battle in just a week. After WWII was finally at an end, Corporal James Clovis was awarded a Purple Heart and was promoted to Staff Sargent.
Khe Sahn, Vietnam January 20th, 1968
The tension between Vietnam and the US grew greatly and the US had to come up with an offense operation to help the American Forces but they nothing to do but to send more soldiers. A conference took place and James Clovis attended to suggest that his company be shipped to Khe Sahn. Clovis was already a Brigadier General at the time and because of his brave actions, the Congress agreed to let them loose in Khe Sahn.
With the advanced weaponry and technology, Op X was ready for some hard action and a great American victory.
Khe Sahn, Vietnam January 21th, 1968
Op X went to Khe Sahn with great timing because the NVA was attacking the SOG base and Op X had some action and Brigadier General James Clovis wanted to send a message to the NVA by hijacking their tanks during the attack. Noticing the tanks were coming in a certain formation from the east, he wanted his men to go to the enemies side and wait to take the tanks. In their first attempt they managed to retrieve the tanks and use them to their advantage also with multiple American foot mobiles armed with heavy weapon. Clovis's plan worked and Khe Sahn still belonged to the SOG.
January 21, 1968 to April 30, 1975
For over seven years Op X has been a big part of the Vietnam War. Even though the war resulted in the United States being defeated Op X still was proud to being part of a long time conflict. Op X was rewarded with medals for showing their bravery, strength, and intelligence in both WWII and Vietnam. James Clovis became a five star Commander and a war legend.
December 5, 1991
The war legend James Clovis died of natural causes at the age of 76. It was a sad time for the United States and Op X was no longer part of the United States war system. In a time where America was at war again Op X couldn't help those who needed in the battlefield.
December 5, 1996
Five years after the death of James Clovis the White House has established the National Task Force of Defense in honor of James Clovis and the Op X. The Task Force was based on everything Clovis has accomplished with Op X. They operate in defense and offense of the United States of America.

They have been active ever since their establishment and currently operating in Liberty City. After being stationed in Liberty City for about four years they prepare to be stationed in San Andreas soon. They have been a strong force in the defense system for decades all because James Clovis who always said "Always fight, never back down."

Once a week every week we get together at our Liberty City HQ in Castle Gardens. We talk about a number of subjects that everyone must acknowledge. The Rendezvous must have everyone attended, if you cannot attend let me know ahead of time. If you didn't attend you must have a reason of why, maybe you forgot to tell me it doesn't matter, just as long you have a reason.
I announce the date of the rendezvous here on our topic and via PSN, when attending the meeting you must be on your TF PSN ID. A strategy I do to test member's activity is taking roll at the begging of the meeting, like school I say your name say "here".
 - Always be willing to follow orders from your President, Vice President, or other Superior Officers.
- Be active in here and PSN.
- Do not go against any clan without the permission of your President.
- Once you are in a Division you must follow the Division leaders order.
- Always help our allies any way you can.
- Always attend important meetings and daily rendezvous.
- Respect everybody, even our allies and our neutral clans.
- Rude behavior will not be allowed.
- If you know how to make Youtube videos, please say that you do because we will be making a few videos. (Hopefully).
- You must be skilled in shooting, driving, flying.
- Before joining the NTFD, you must go through a series of training courses.

In the Task Force Media we post videos, pictures, and other types of art we would like to share with everybody. This post has been edited by National Task Force of Defense on Friday, Jun 29 2012, 08:20
