So my good friends mom recently got into a large side/fender collision. Sadly, her Monte Carlo will never be driven again and she's scraping it for parts to a local guy. However, my friend wants the engine (transmission, ecu, etc.) for himself. Luckily, we have a bunch of rednecks who can handle basic engineering at school, and want to do some crazy projects for their senior year. I have 4 guys on board, including the teacher, and some of them came over to check it out. The motor still runs quite well (minus a hole in the air filter box that could be an issue) and they approved it for usage.
We are feeling something along the lines of a Snowmobile or some sort of a Go-Kart matted to this monster 3.1L V6. Anyone else know some ideas?
