Actually I want to see the same hud as IV but with a weapon wheel because I find it just a lot more quicker than having to scroll through all your weapons.

I was thinking the radar could be enhanced to look more realistic, maybe have it like Just Cause 2's map where it was 3D.



For the health + armour bars, perhaps they could be separated form the radar in order to see them clearer like San Andreas.
The red at the end of the green represents you losing health.



Then again I'm also 100% fine with the current HUD used for GTA IV and I wouldn't care if they reused it.

The reason GTA IV's HUD is way better and more modern than yours is because it has combined the map and health into a sleek design.

Anyway, you won't have all your money in the hud.
You'll have to withdraw in ATM machine, your cash will be the only amount seeable
You would be able to deposit money in a bank account


Can someone make the hud with those colours? something original?

I don't like it:

-should be on the right. That's where people look for it naturally.
-the minimap without a (semi)solid background makes it hard to read on dark backgrounds
-it also can't show info like shortcuts and alleyways

The IV hud is much better. The only problem I had with that is that some icons were hard to make out on a small screen.

Good work OP! However, it is rather distracting when the screen turns red when your HP is low and all of us are used to having the HUD on the top right corner. But good work nontheless.

Would anyone prefer to see some alternative to the minimap? Perhaps should radical change like seeing it gone entirely? Maybe it could pop up in cars, but in general I feel like I'm watching the map more than the game most of the time. This was particularly bad in RDR. And I know you can turn it off, but the game seems unbalanced without it. There has to be an alternative.

i tried to design the map in such a way that it can help you out if you're stuck, without getting in the way or making the player rely on it too much.
