Ok, so I know that Rockstar Games is planning on releasing a "PS3 exclusive" game called "Agent" sometime soon. But what I want to know is: Does Rockstar have maybe an "undercover" plan to perhaps release Agent for Xbox 360 sometime after they release it for PS3?? I really do want to try out this game--but I'm not about to fork over 200 bucks to buy a new game console when my Xbox 360 works just fine. Especially, I'm not going to buy a Playstation 3 just so I can play ONE game and nothing else....So anyways, the question remains: When will Rockstar Release Agent for XBOX 360???

Maybe R* will do the same thing as they did with L.A. Noire. We all know, L.A. Noire was first a PlayStation 3 Exclusive, then it went Multiplatform(360, PS3, PC).

I don't think it will ever come to 360. Rockstar said themselves that Agent is to make up for the exclusivity of the GTA IV DLC for the time it was exclusive, and for not being fair to PS3 players.

There's a rumor AGENT will be the first R* game on next-gen console. But if they going to release it for this gen, I'm sure AGENT will be available for both Xbox 360 and PS3... and PC later. Just like they did with LA Noire.

That is what i was going to say, right now i'm 99% sure Agent will be a PS4 exclusive, i don't think R* broke thier deal with sony, i think they just pushed the game to next-gen (PS4) instead of releasing it this late in the current consoles live

I think that was when the DLC wasn't going to PS3 at all. They only caved because of the whiners and came out with "It's timed exclusive".


Agent may even be scrapped for all we know.

Chances are Sony pulled their funding and Rockstar is trying to decide whether to go multi-platform or just scrap the project entirely. If Sony did indeed cut their funding, there would be no reason at all to keep it PS3 exclusive - it would only serve to minimize profits, and as much as you may like them, you always have to remember that Rockstar is a business first and foremost. They're going to do whatever it takes to make the highest profit possible.

Sony CEO Jack Tretton said at last years E3 that he wasn't sure if Agent was going to be a PS3 exclusive anymore, and that the decision was up to R* if they wanted to do cross-platform.

They probably will. If you spend so much time on a game, then you probably would want as many people as possible playing it.

People on that site piss me off. They aren't gamers, they are self absorbed little sh*ts. They only want their console to have games, which is pretty f*cking stupid. You'd have thought they'd realize the games are so much better because of the audience.

I haven't heard anything on this game in years. I'm intrigued but think Rockstar should do what is best for the IP, if that means limiting the audience on either console or PC, then do it. Or releasing it to all gamers, so be it. As a gamer, I want everyone to experience games how ever they choose.

If Agent ever happens...

The Housers and R* like money. Just like with all of their other PS exclusives, if it is popular and sells well it will end up on the xbox to broaden their profit margin...Heck, if it is popular enough it will even get a sh*tty PC port in order to tap that [free] revenue.

Are there any R* exclusives that have staid honest to their PS exclusivity?
