After GTA IV the DLC's, R* took a break from Grand Theft Auto to focus on other franchises. Before, their non-GTA games were good, but nothing stellar. It was obvious they didn't put the same energy and budget into these games and they were released without making any particular noise. Then they must've realized that if they didn't want to be a company associated with just one single franchise they had to branch out, because their next set of games would all turn out to be something truly spectacular.
Instead of releasing average games, they took their time and and released just one game each year to make sure they would uphold a much higher level of quality than before, enough to almost challenge GTA.
Anyway, my question is, which game do you think R* can be most happy with? Which game did you enjoy playing the most and why?
Open-world western adventure game, Red Dead Redemption? Neo-Noir detective game, LA Noire? Story-driven action shooter, Max Payne 3?

Its really tough to compare these titles because they are such unique games....
RDR is easily one of the greatest games I have ever played. Everything worked together to deliver an amazing open-world environment, with a rich storyline, and brilliant game play....At first I didn't think I would like it, but after a couple nights I was hooked....
LA Noire, otoh, is a different experience. Its still got an amazing story, and a really beautiful environment, but the game play is the real magic--a successful mix of traditional action, and a daring new dimension in video games.
I played both of these games nonstop until I beat them. RDR took me longer I believe....
And I voted RDR in the poll...but in reality, these are both two top-shelf games....
Each provides an exquisite;y unique gaming experience.
I think I might have actually liked the LAN storyline a bit more than the RDR story---but the depth and gameplay of RDR was a determining factor....there just wasn't enough side missions and subplots in LAN...
At any rate...the story and city in LAN were so beautiful....
I still have yet to play MP3 so..................................
