so... what's this I just heard on the news? The kids didn't violate any laws (free speech), as Don Rickles does it all the time and gets paid for abusing people.

I'm sorry but didn't they say she was the 'bus moderator'? I'd say she was doing a piss poor job. Shouldn't she have stood up and f*ck'n gave the kids the business? - scared the sh*t out of them.

f*cking kids today...no respect for their elders.

The fact that this woman has made a small fortune for failing at her job is the kind of irony you'd expect in the US.

Every charity/fund/etc. is people driven. This charity had a great idea, giving a woman a vacation for having to put up with a bus ride of insults not just towards her, but her family as well. When the people find this fund, and feel real emotion they're going to donate towards it. The person who controlled the thing should have put a limit on how much they could make, or who knows, maybe the extra money will be donated towards some greater cause. Don't blame a whole country, or a woman who volunteered and didn't expect she'd need that certain set of skills.

I said it was ironic, not anyone's fault other than the old lady's for sucking complete ass at handling sh*tty children. And if she was unaware of the job's requirements, then those in charge of positioning these monitors should have known better than to put a feeble old woman in any sort of position of authority, but either they're oblivious to how kids act on buses or they just don't care.

Upcoming generations are only interested in sex, alcohol (so much), and the nightlife...Off course they don't see any mature on roads in the night, so they became to be a piece of sh*t like that...No respect to our elders...

Speak for yourself, that isn't true even in the slightest. Every generation has had it's bad eggs, including this one. Once again you're another person generalizing an entire group of people based off the actions of only a few.

If the media would stop focusing on the bad eggs, and actually focus more on the good ones, maybe people would have faith.

BUT until that happens, f*ck this generation, and The next few are gonna f*ck up the world EVEN MORE.

Like i said she shoulda bought a gun and kill all of them.

Every past generation sh*ts on the future generation, it will always be this way. 80s babies got a bad rep when we were coming up and look at us now! Oh wait.....that's right, we're underemployed, living with our parents and prematurely balding over the stress of student loans.

I am getting a bit tired of this.
First of all, the whole thing is horrible. I am ashamed that people about same age as me can be like that. But then to the thing what has been discussed. About "this generation."
Togrul, you said that for our generation it's all bout sex, alcohol and nightlife. That's not the truth. Cmon, everyone minds about sex. But cmon, again, I am 13. What should I know about that? Another thing, about alcohol... I wouldn't care less, I hate it and everything about alchohol. though I hate seeing 15 year old guys hiding behind the store's corner with a bottle of vodka on their hands. Nightlife? In Finland there is no "nightlife" other than disco's once a month. Well, the biggest city anywhere near has only about 45,000 people but it's the same sh*t here everywhere.

So nothing's wrong. This has been like this for ages. But these few bad demons like those kids... Damn them.

Like you study for fifteen hours a day. The Y generation is marketed to with pleasurable things because not very many of them enjoy burying their nose into a book on quantum theory all day, or perfecting their microcontrollers. Not everyone was an atomic physicist in the 30s, or a renaissance man in the renaissance either. We only ever remember the accomplished ones. Then the only ones you pay attention to are the ones you see on TV who drink beer and watch TV all day, just like good, stupid consumers should.

Pretty sure there are just as many degenerates now as there was before and just as many capable, willing to succeed kids as well.
It's not the kids for the most part anyway, slack parenting gets the ball rolling and the kids just continue it as they age, and most mature and become respectful people.

Pushing the boundries is natural for some of the degenerate youths.
Not being able to <smack> them once in a while doesn't help.
But, this all works in cycles. The turning wheel of time. Soon enough adults will give up with the sugary handling of brats and you'll all go back to 'brutalizing the kids'.

Scuttlers, Teddy boys, Greasers, Crips & Bloods, MC Clubs, it all works in cycles. Some might even include the Zoot-Suiters, Heavy Metal. And, definitly the Gansta Rappers.
Society will fall to a level of savagery before the 'knights Chivalry' will raise again!
The more civilized a socitey thinks it is the deeper it will fall.

And what of this concept of 'respecting elders'? Respect should be something that you treat people with a modicum of anyway, regardless of age; otherwise it should be earned. I respect you because you're a person, not because you happen to be older than me and so deserve some sort of awed, hallowed admiration. If you're in your 80s, yeah okay fair enough. But it's not an umbrella rule.

Are you always this uptight? Did you notice I blamed the old lady?

And just so you know - the cliche I closed with has been in use since the second generation of mankind.

"No respect for their elders..." Only in civilized societies.

"Respect must be earned" No, respect is expected to given at all times (except to prisoners of war).

Civilized animals (such as all too many members of this forum) attack whenever someone doesn't agree with his/her preconceived notions (or 'science'). There's no latitude for differing beliefs.
