| QUOTE (StormerBoy @ Tuesday, Jun 19 2012, 18:20) | Am I going crazy because the other day when playing GTA IV single player there were guys driving buses around!
I was at the airport area and playing with my wanted level using cheats up/down. The buses were driving around just like all vehicles normally do. The guys driving them looked like bus drivers or something?
Is this normal? | Yes it's normal, I've seen it too, but Rockstar unfortunately didn't implement a bus system in GTA IV. There is an efficient Metro system though. I think the main reason why Rockstar didn't do it was becos it would be too easy to break it, to interfere with it. You could for example bomb or highjack the bus, which would totally f*ck up the whole line, since that bus wouldn't be driving anymore. They've prevented the metro's from being blocked up or jacked, but it's completely acceptable cos it's realistic. You can't do that with buses though cos then it would be really awkward that there's some indestructible vehicle riding around.

| QUOTE (StormerBoy @ Tuesday, Jun 19 2012, 18:43) | | Thanks. Do you know if passengers get on the buses, and either way do the buses stop at airport bus stops? | Nope, it's just the old Rockstar trick: either they disappear behind a building, or if you follow them, they'll just drive in circles. It's a bit of a pity they didn't put in the game, but then again, it musn't be easy to come with a decent working bus system.

They had a system back in Vice City how the Busses would only follow a single path and they would not spawn outside of the roads along there path, and would stop at the stops with Passengers getting on and off the bus.

Did they say this in an interview? I would assume Rockstar will want to reintroduce this into V, and it will be interesting to see how they do it, considering the affect of what you have said.
