Why do people always get added to CNC games just after they have started? Because they have started they can’t actually take part, only observe. So why can’t they take part if it’s only a few seconds into it (as you can in Races and Death match)?

But what I don’t understand is why they are only put into the game just after it has started and why they are not added all the way through the game? That would still be unhelpful but at least it wouldn’t be SO hard to understand the logic of the way it works.

One of CnC game types is One for All where cops and crooks got only 1 life and cant respawn after getting killed, they have to spectact than. If you could join in progress to CnC you could just leave the game after getting killed, join back and spawn again which would make totaly no sense. Tere are also 2 rounds - you have to play as a crook and as a cop, you cant just join in second round and play only as one of them, also when you are crook you could check getaway vechicle location than leave the game and join back to cops team with the knowledge of getaway vechicle location which would be really not fair but experienced players know getaway vechicles spawn locations so they go there and camp with sniper riffle, with join in progress you could just leave game, join as a cop, check campers locations, leave again and join back as a crook than kill all cops campers as you know where they are. There are more reasons...

Thank you. That explains why you can’t play after the game has started. But why then does the game put players in just to ‘spectate’? Surely it should do what it does once the game is well underway and put them in a different game altogether, one that hasn’t started yet?

Why should it? If you joined that means you want to wait and join in next round, if you dont want to wait you can always create your own server or join one that is in lobby at the moment

Why should it? Because if you had a choice of starting a game straight away (ie a game at lobby screen state) or alternatively watching almost an entire game as a spectator and then joining in after that game has finished, what would you and most people rather do?

Are you seriously suggesting that the game makers consider that people enjoy watching other people play as apposed to playing themselves?

First of all you have a choice, you can always leave and create your own server or join one that is in lobby at the moment like I said, also many people (including me) enjoy spectacting, its a good way to learn new tactics, you can chat with other players/spectactors or just take it as a good movie.

Why not? The game modes was designed to be ranked where you cant join in progress even to spectacting, player matches were added during porting the game, thats why there are so many bugs there and such thigs that makes no sense

Ok I understand now thank you. Although your last paragraph didn't make a lot of sense, it sounded interesting.
