Ive got a pair of JVC extreme over ear headphones and the leather smells really horrible, like a fishy smell and for some reason these new headphones cause my ears to produce more ear wax, it really is weird??

they cup over my ears quite tight could this be why?

As for the strange smell, maybe the volume is causing the headphones to over heat? (Should not be happening..)

I've heard about this before on tv, it might be because of the glue or the leather used and it can be very hard to get rid of the smell

it sucks cos it really smells gross and its like that weird addicting gross smell like ear piercing gunk or whatever it smells gross yet you cant stop smelling it
