I've tried rerigging a cutscene model using 3DSMAX 2012. The model works nearly perfect in game (isn't texture yet) but the mouth is distorted and pulled down. I've tried realigning the mouth bones, but it has no effect.
kind of looks like there's a vert not assigned to a bone on the chin, if I was you I would make sure that all verts are assigned to a bone and double check the chin area, if this doesn't work test the animation on another ped/character model to see if it has the same bug.
Thanks for the reply, What I've notice is changing the weight on the head seems to fix the issue but can stop the mouth moveing all together. Could some recommend the best weight to assign the different facial regions?
