I'd like to see the LA Colloseum, LA Live, and Universal Studios. All very interesting places.

I would like to see some nice forest areas of L.A. but I don't really expect rockstar to add that into V.

They put the LAX airport in Midnight Club 2, so there's no reason not to add it to GTA

i'd like to see sunset junction in the game.
and echo park/silverlake/los feliz created in realistic detail.
also the areas of venice/mar vista and laurel canyon created in detail as well.
that is the best parts of los angeles.

i hope they don't just do compton like they did before, but the game has a max payne 3-esque feel
going on right now so i doubt i'll see any of those landmarks or areas besides maybe echo park.

Wish granted.

From the looks of the trailer it looks like we will be getting barely scaled down renditions of the famous LA freeways with barely less lanes than the actual ones we see today.

This will be very fun to drive on, I wholeheartedly agree on that, as opposed to the boring, unrealistic, bland, 2 lane highways we are used to in all Grand Theft Auto games prior to this.

Think Midnight Club: Los Angeles. The freeway renditions were great in my opinion although some sections had only 3 lanes with the carpool lane so 2 if you are like me and don't consider the carpool lane a main through traffic lane. (I AM A ROADGEEK OBVIOUSLY)

The freeway system in Midnight Club: Los Angeles was a dream come true. The traffic was pretty good as well. I hope the traffic is similar to that of MC: LA (though I'd like more). I'd also like to see an occasional reckless driver (though don't overdo it like in San Andreas).

Don't know if any of you have heard but earlier in the week the WW2 battleship USS Iowa (of the Missouri class, second largest ever made behind the Japanese Yamato class) was moved to a permanent mooring in San Pedro, L.A., to be opened as a museum ship. If R* knew that this would be happening (I presume it would have been planned for a while) then there could be the chance of seeing a version of it in V. Obviously not active or anything but it could still be an interesting feature on the map, maybe with a helicopter stationed on the aft deck that could be 'borrowed'.

I know the thread is LA landmarks, but if hypothetically speaking part of Nevada were included in the game, it'd be cool to a seem a GTA equivalent to Burning Man. A friend of mine invited me a while back, but I didn't go (because I hate hippies and heat and not bathing) amd she sent me photos afterward. Total GTA parody material right there.

I know there is a "Mapping Los Santos" thread, but that's about finding LA landmarks. This is about landmarks we wish to see in the game.

I would like to see such L.A. landmarks return (or make a debut) in V's Los Santos.

This would all be nice (plus more)

I would prefer The Staples Center as you would probably be able to do more with it. Imagine Monster truck competitions that you could compete in.
