I have a dial up which I am able to run on WIN7 but not on XP, I could use it on XP until a few days ago, can anyone help me? It says, modem not recognized or already in use. Help please.

This is on a dual boot system or 2 different computers? When you say "It says" you mean the XP doesn't see the modem? Look in the Device Manager, is XP seeing it there correctly?
