Actually, the reference design GTX670 is very short - just 9.5 inches. The PCB itself is just 6.8125 inches liong.

length of gt 440 is 5.7 inches. if it can fit in there would a GTX 670 work? also if i buy a GTX 560TI would it be able to run games like crysis 3 or unreal engine 4 games at max or close to max for next 2 years? if not then looks like ill go with gtx 670.

edit: looks like gtx 660 TI is coming out very soon. i might just get gtx 670 then

bump: plan on buying this card

I'd go for non-reference design model with better cooling, like http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16814125423

I got this card recently and I can't praise it enough. Idles at 25c and hasn't yet hit anything above 65c on full load. Performs great after upgrading from a 460SLi set up which isn't weak by any means. I can't personally compare it to other 670's but most review sites state this as good as or better than the ASUS DirectCU II and the Zotac amp edition, all 3 considered to be the top 3 non-reference boards. Word of warning though, the Gigabyte Windforce uses the 680 PCB which makes it longer than the standard reference card at just under 11 inches/ 27.5cm.
