which 1 would be good for playing games like AC3, watch dogs, or unreal engine 4 games at 1920 x 1080 high?
im also looking for a graphic card which would last about 1.5 to 2 years and would still be able to play games at high to med with decent framerate cuz the graphic card that i bought( gtx 440) is already struggling alot even running on low for max payne 3

Your 440 is struggling because it's an entry level card, it's not for gaming. Even an 8800GT would be better.

Out of the cards listed, the 680 would obviously be the best, but I doubt you need it. A GTX470 would probably last you a good while if you're currently only running a 440.

What are the rest of your specs?

My guess would be OP probably won't be getting any of the cards on the list as if he was able to, then he would have gotten a high-end graphic card in the first place instead of a entry level like the GT440.
Even if he's able to now (which I hope is has), there might be a chance he will have to spend a bit more, if he has to change his power supply.
OP, sorry no offense, just trying to base it on reality. orly.gif

A GTX 560Ti in Singapore cost around $350 to $400.

its funny cuz my PC has a 6GB RAM and a i7 processor so i guess it should be fine. i kinda bought a pre build PC from acer ( worst regret of my life, i wasnt too much into tech that time so i pretty much just saw an i7 logo and a badass casing and it could run crysis 2 at max that time so i thought it would be good. my next comp would be custom build though ) i honestly couldnt give a sh*t about warrenty cuz im gonna get a 2nd comp which would be custom build in about a year or one and a half but for the time being, GT 440 is pure sh*t, it cant handle any game that has directx11 in it.

Acer pre build with badass casing, you talking about the Acer Predator?
Those are way overpriced and they used weak graphic cards.
As for Crysis 2, it was DirectX 9 based, so every modern card can basically run that game on high, including your GT440.
Crysis on the other hand needs a better card than Crysis 2 as it was DirectX 10 based. Once Crysis 2 had the DX 11+high res. package,
then the game requires a high-end video card.

A 670 performs slightly under a 680 and it costs around $400 USD while the 680 is $500. Either one of those will be more than enough for current games and upcoming games for some time.

But, you'll need to be sure you have a PSU good enough to support those cards. If not, you'll have to upgrade that as well.

Both, but if its some unbranded PSU from a prebuilt system you'll probably have to upgrade that too. The overall power isn't what's important, its performance and stability under high loads on the 12v rail in this case.

It should be enough, but it's probably a no-name PSU which tend to be sh*tty, so it's hard to say. If you're going to be spending all that money on a new card, I'd advise getting a new PSU which you know is good. Brands like Corsair, Seasonic, XFX, Antec, Silverstone.

It depends on how Acer configures the system. For a GT440, you will most likely have a 500w instead of a 750w PSU.
Take a picture of your power supply label and post it here. While your at it, check if your power supply have any 6 pin or 6+2pin connector for video cards.

I would go 670 or 560 Ti. NOT 560 non-Ti. If I went for 670, I would be happy for probably 2 or so years with it. If I went for 560 Ti, I would be looking into the next generation after the 600 series (such as 760 Ti or whatever) or SLI the 560 Ti. I have 560 Ti SLI which is about as good as a 680 (in games with SLI compatibility, which is most of the good ones) and I'm quite happy with the performance. Only complaint is not quite enough VRAM (could get a 2GB variant of the 560 Ti if you ever planned on SLI.)

Go for 670. It's recent and cost less than 680. Plus it can be overclocked to have 680's specifications. I hear a lot of positive feedback about Gigabyte GeForce GTX 670 Windforce 3X 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card. Plus 670s use less energy, so you're saving on bills here as well. smile.gif

I have a GTX 570 in a custom built machine I got for my 17th birthday. I can run GTA III, Vice City, and San Andreas all maxxed out. The 570 requires a 500 watt power supply.

It has usual layout. Graphics card is on the bottom. just unscrew it, pull it out and insert a new one.

Plus for a pre-build the cable management is pretty horrific.

Well, the CM *possibilities* seem to be decent. Though, on this pic the cables don't seem to be routed behing the motherboard tray at all.

Is that the 'bad ass casing' that sealed the deal for you? It's making my eyes bleed. tounge.gif

In addition to Yojo and sivi already pointed out, also make sure that you can actually fit the card in the case. Don't think the 550TI is that big, but the GTX670 is quite long, as I recall. From the picture it looks like it might be able to pass under the 3.5" drive bay, but check the length of the cards anyways, before you make the purchase. smile.gif
