has anyone found a definitive solution to this issue. i get it more often then not now... it sometimes takes several hundred attempts so i can log in and play online. this never used to happen much before, but now it is constant.

It's been very temperamental since Max Payne 3 came out. Try rebooting your PC before trying to log in again.

Patch 1.0.7.0 fixes this problem so upgrade to that.

It looks like R* limited amount of players that can be online at the same time in IV to make some free servers for MP3, we cant do anything about that, try to log in at times of day when not many people play and than you shouldnt have this problem

this makes sense, but i think it is sh*tty of Rockstar to do.(thank you) they need to make a patch so we dont need social club to play a LAN Game....
