I'd say if you want something very detailed and realistic with a breathing city, Liberty City (GTA IV) . If you want something really big with mountains , deserts and multiple city, San Andreas ( GTA San Andreas) If you want a realistic wild west feeling , with animals , snow, deserts , Red Dead Redemption map.
The rest are cool but I don't have that feeling when I play, seems very empty idk...(games like Just Cause Assassins Creed)

I mean the map is so big but its not that detailed like Red Dead Redemption. If you don't like destruction etc play Just Cause 2 for 5 hours just flyring , driving , running around the map...BORING. Then play RDR , GTA IV for 5 hours and you will feel something really different. Rockstar knows how to make a realistic, breathing surrounding...

It seems they designed it with only "big" in mind... like they intended for people to mainly travel by jet. |
I think it is beautiful and I mainly travel by grappling hook xDD | Haha, same here... I much prefer it to any land vehicle. It really does look amazing from the air. I just cant find myself engaging in the map like I do in a GTA though... but I suppose thats because a lot of the map is simply country side.

In the beginning I played IV for hours and hours on end but now I know everything in that map and that makes it boring. What the magic of just cause 2 iin my opinion is that you can keep exploring on and on.

IMO is the fun factor thus higher than in any releases GTA game. Hopefully R* surprises me with an even bigger map than JC2 and an even bigger fun factor to it.

| QUOTE (Adriaan @ Tuesday, Jun 12 2012, 06:49) | | People jizz too much at Just Cause 2 which was mostly procedurally created by computer software. ALL of Red Dead Redemption, and other Rockstar titles, were modeled by hand (including the mountains in GTAV)! So comparatively I have more appreciation for its art alone. | Quite frankly I don't really give a sh*t about how the game is produced I play games for fun. And if a games has that fun factor to it, it is a good game IMO. GTA SA had that fun factor, GTA IV not, JC 2 is my favorite game ever.
