I have the GTA trilogy for PC, however I've heard it's best on PS2, and I have 51$ store credit which I was gonna use for The Last of Us... Post what you think I should do.

Hmmm...

Well GTA SA and VC looks it's best if used in a PS2. In GTA SA, you get that nice sunny effect like in VC. The controls are much easier, but you can't have a custom station like in Xbox or PC. So, it's your choice! But if it were mine, then it'll be worth it.

Why? Because controlls on PS2 suck...
Anyone that says GTA is better on console is an idiot that never saw:
-Good controllers where you actually use aim instead of aimbot.
-Better Graphics.

It's worth to get the XBox version of the Trilogy.

I myself am looking forward to it (it's much better than the PS2 and PC version).

PS2 has better graphics. Better car reflections, lens flare, realistic sunshine, better shadows, street light actually illuminates the cars. Of course this all can be achieved on PC with mods but still.

Tear gas in VC only on the PS2 version. Just a fun fact. I have the series across all platforms. I'd recommend original Xbox (idk if it's just me but III and VC don't run perfect on my 360) for a console experience or PC if you can run it and in this day and age you should be able to. But my first days with series, when I was in high school, were on the PS2.

I'd say get it for PS2...

I recently bought the trilogy for my Mac and I gave up playing because there is no way to fix the inverted controls for III/VC...so annoying! San Andreas has the option to fix it.

Oh yeah, me loves me some 640x400 graphics or whatever it is on PS2...

Lens flare and the orange effects are meant to hide the poor draw distance and even poorer textures then in PC.

And that is not mentioning the terrible framerate you have on the PS2...
The only thing I want to point out is that driving with mouse and keyboard ain't as silly as aimbotting around with the controller.
