Sorry if this does not deserve its own thread.. I remember playing Gun on the ps2 and i recall how enjoyable it was to shoot the arms and legs and even head off the great unwashed, i was hoping for more of that in RDR, ...Never happened.. Would that be too much for GTA 5 or is this too graphic. I personally believe that this only adds too the fun....What about you guys.. would u like to see detachable limbs ???

well...i'm all for that, but it'd bring country censor or even blocking subject on the table...i miss dismembering since GTA3, you could shoot ALL limbs off and it was very gory, but it's been thumbed down since Vice City...

After watching Max Payne 3's ending on accident, I wouldn't be surprised if there was a little bit of interactive gore in the game.

man no offense but it was started in GTA3 not Vice City!...besides aside from reasoning behind head mysteriously disappearing in thin air after being shot off it looked fun and gory, besides i don't give a damn for all that reasoning its computer games i play for a god's sake and not everything has to make a sense... ..especially in games, where you kill people and steal cars and always win...

Yeah I own both games, my bad.But it did feature in VC too so I'm not wrong either. I kinda agree with you, but I still want it to be more realistic.

well thats alright...oh and by the way in GTA3 you could shoot of hands and legs...in Vice city there's only blood spilling when you shoot it!...

I want gore like there was in Fallout 3 and New Vegas with the bloody mess perk! Just have limbs scattered everywhere with a nice blood splatter on the walls, floors, ect.

I imagine Rockstar going this route, but more realistically. They always step up everything a little bit, or by a lot. The blood for the last 3 Rockstar developed games has been better and more gruesome each time.

If not now then why then? Most are so desensitized that it would mane no sense for at least the gore mode cheat to make an appearance in V. I say bring on the limbs, the blood, the gore; Al Gore.

I feel real positive about the outcome of this game; tis wil be the champagne of gta's.


Oh one thing that i think will make online gta even more "fun", would be for all the corpses to stay where they lay instead of dispersing. I want a room filled with all of your players so that you can hate me even more.

That happens in all the GTA III era games.

I would like to see detachable limbs in GTA V, but nothing to overdone. Like maybe a hand or portion of the leg.

If bodies don't disappear then the game will drop fps, don't know how that would be fun.
@AtomicPunk Lots of things in GTA doesn't make sense.

See I imagine they stopped it in the older games because it didn't look realistic and was a bit campy.
If it's in now for V it will be brutal. But I don't see it being in though, unless you can blow someone to pieces with nades.
It won't be happening with bullets.
