7 months. 7 long grueling months. That's 222 days. Most of us have woken up every morning to check the newswire and these forums for literally ANYTHING relating to GTAV. That's 222 mornings accompanied with sorrow and disappointment. Just wait until Max Payne releases. We did. Just wait until the PC version releases. We did. E3 for sure, just wait until E3! We did. And here we are. 31 weeks older than when our eyes first lit up watching the trailer for a game we've been waiting nearly 5 years for and know none the more than when we started aside from the fact that MP3's crews will carry over to GTAV and some supposed images of planes captured in GTAV's world.

This isn't a speculation topic, nor is it a wish list, nor is it a complaint. It is a only a message. Though our community is not perfect by any means, we all have common ground on the fact that we love this series and WHEN we do finally get new information on the game, we will feel both ecstatic and relieved that it's finally over. And hopefully never have to hear "why did I move here?" ever again. I will cover my ears if it is actually spoken in game, as to not bring back bad memories of this tormenting wait. But still, we push through.

Let's not get weak. We can stomach the rest of the wait. WE ARE GTA FANS! OORAH!

tl;dr: We're bigger then the info hungry rodents R* have turned us into. Stand up, have a shave, and rise above. We're getting close to the end!

Problem is that the "just wait until this day" talk was created all on this forum. R* has done nothing to get you hyped up, therefore you've only set yourself up for a letdown and have only yourself to blame. It's just a game (albeit an awesome one), it's not that bad.

Indeed. You were dissapointed at E3? Tough, the people with brain cells told you they wouldn't be there. Upset about 2405? Again, you were warned it was just a theory but still chose to get excited. The only information you need to be looking forward to is official information. Everything else - leaks, maps, screenshots, trailers, theories, ideas - is and always will be pure speculation. No matter how real it may seem, if you want to believe everything you hear then you will live a life of regret and dissapointment.

There's so many things in life you need to wait forever for, like being able to drive, being able to have your own money, finally leaving school, all the luxuries in life require working hard and it takes a long time to achieve. Yet almost everyone manages to achieve it somehow, so trust me, you can wait for a goddamn GTA game. It's nothing compared to some of the things you're going to have to wait and work hard for.
