Eventhough I'm still stoked and eager to play this... and most likely will enjoy it, I stopped holding my breath for it a long time ago and don't want to bother looking out for it again. I'll just wait when it's out (IF it eventually gets released).

On top of that, too much good games to play/finish aswell in the meantime. Other than that: what "new" will they show us actually?

He's right you know. Once you play the Half-Life series you've played the best. HL2, Game of the Decade. You don't know better.

I am an original CoD junky. Played thousands of hours in multiplayer. It doesn't come close to Half-Life. Even if it were fair to compare considering HL came out like 5 years earlier. I'll go so far as to say without HL's emphasis on keeping all of the game from beginning to end in the first person view, and not having cutscenes, that CoD's single player campaign wouldn't have been as great as it was, and FPS games wouldn't have been close to as immersive as they are.

That said this is a remake of a game that came out 14 years ago, using an engine that was state of the art 8 years ago. All you youngins won't understand or appreciate it.

Played HL2 and episodes once. Not even GotY of 2004. Not even shooter otY.

GTA Advance was really more enjoyable.

Oh yes, with 39 Game of the Year awards, four Game of the Decade ones, a Guinness World Record for the highest rated PC game ever reviewed and amongst the highest average ratings of any game ever produced on Gamerankings and Metacritic, it isn't the most critically acclaimed FPS ever.

Speaking of awards - GTA SA has more GotY awards. Heard of that game? You should try it sometimes instead of shooting monsters for 147th time.
