I know R* didn't put this in purposefully but this is funny. Well you know the game 'Saints Row' which I and I'm guessing many others dislike. Well you know the Ballas your enemy gang in SA, their 'gang colour' is purple as well.

Just thought you'd like to know, every time I'm taking over their territory it's just funny XD

There are only so many 'basic' colours on the colour wheel, boys. Saints Row had 4 gangs. One Purple, one red, one blue and one yellow. Does this now mean that any gang related game cannot use these colours to represent their gangs without 'copying'?

One thing I don't understand is I have heard of Orange Grove gang but I've never seen them. Maybe it was the colour Grove St used before going to green. Can someone fill me in?

'Orange Grove' (fruit) is a group of trees that occupied the current site Ganton, an early name of the Grove Street Familes.
Not the Colour.

They copied NOTHING. Well they did copy things. But not all. Saints row 1 and 2 are awesome, but saints row 3 feels like recycled dog poop.

"Orange Grove Street" was the BETA SA Grove Street.

Also if you played SA and saw the guy with the Orange Hat and Shirt (During the loading screens), he is a Orange Grove Street member.

There are many references in the game's files to the OGF. Sound files, graffiti tags and loading screens. Also, the ballas had a different color in the very early Alpha. Also, their beta name was The Flats.

I think the OP's post is missing something there. Is something is Saints Row also purple or what? Or is the DVD purple?
