| QUOTE (Zee @ Friday, Jun 8 2012, 17:48) | | I reeally hope not. I hated it in Max Payne 3. Unskippable boring scenes of max payne and passos slowly opening a door and walking through it, or max slowly climbing something, are terrible. Hopefully if they do include cutscene loading it will feature less boring cutscenes than someone taking a gun of a holster and slowly pushing a door open. | Do you even read the topics before you start to bitch? In Max Payne 3 loading screen represents cutscenes that have already been showed, and the topic starter asked if we prefer those over the black images. And because you have no idea what a loading screen is, here are some screenshots:

You clearly aren't the target audience then, the story was gripping, but you have to be in the right mindset to really enjoy it, MP3 was more like a fully interactive movie in my opinion. | Im definitely not in the target audience for Max Payne 3. See, I actually want to play a video game. If I want a cinematic experience, I'll watch a movie. R* seem to have trouble understanding this concept.

It was fine during my first playthrough, but try going back to select checkpoints for the single player grinds, or play again in old school/hardcore. You can't skip the majority of the cut scenes, or even back out to the main menu during them. Sometimes, I would actually have to quit the game and restart it just to avoid being committed to a 5-7 minute cut scene sequence I couldn't skip (which was a recurring problem since cutscenes regularly start after killing NPCs for grinds). Cutscene loading has already proved to be a serious FAIL as far as gameplay functionality is concerned.

R* seem to have trouble understanding this concept. | This post is pretty ironic, you need you expand your mind, a game can , as R* have proven, be both an immersive gameplay and a cinematic experience rolled into one. I think you seem to have trouble grasping that concept.

R* seem to have trouble understanding this concept. | The cinematic were interesting and fun to watch , if you want pure gameplay go and play an MMORPG... You don't play story driven games like this just to shot some enemies...
