[MyFamilyPlaysGTA]

My 12 year old daughter loves GTA, especially GTA:SA, but her 17 year old boyfriend's parents don't let him play it. I think it's wrong to not let him play it, because he's old enough to play GTA. I let them both play GTA and know there's nothing wrong with it. Why don't her boyfriend's parents let him play it?
Do you let your children play GTA? If not, why not?

I'm not a parent(I'm only 12 ) but my parents allow me to play GTA San Andreas/IV/III/VC.
Actually, I even started playing GTA since i was 6 years old.

Age doesn't matter. Just remember, treat GTA only as a game, and not in real life.

Well I know for a fact that the RXK and indo_14 were both born in 2000 ( ) which I suppose doesnt really affect much, and I'm 15. I started playing GTA when is was 6 and if it's still around when I'm older, I'll be letting my kids play it.

It's ok for me to have a GF who's 1 year older than me(in my situation) but 5 years younger? That would be like Tony Parker and Eva Longoria.
No offense dealt though. I really don't mind at all.

challenging question. I would be scared outta of my mind.

On topic, I have small kids. When they grow up I will introduce them to several
things that will be "real" to them. One of those things will be violent games. I will talk
to them and explain the difference between entertainment and the real life.

In GTA, you shoot and kill people. I have been shot before...it aint like a video
game. When that time comes they will be educated in what reality is and what
a video game is.

She's 12, he's 17, both are minors, what's wrong?
My daughter knows the difference between entertainment and the real life. She has NEVER killed anyone in real life. So why can't she play it?

correct me if im wrong guys, but i remember in some screenshots a few years ago of the hot coffee mod, and cjs girlfriend was either topless or fully naked. This was a few years ago, and my memory isnt a very good one

and the idea of a 17-year old dating a 12-year old is...disturbing nonetheless. How does it work out?
