And yeah, these nostalgia topics keep popping up, as Chris said, but you have to admit that the forums were much better 'back in the day'. The whole forum itself felt much more of a community, and not just because of the gang scene. Yeah, time moves on and whatnot, but would be cool to bring some certain members back to the site...Goodfella, Vengence, Cerb, Vegas...Dem?

Yeah, that was for a failed GTAForums history project away back when. Right now we have whiny little bitches who complain about "Mod abuse" I tell you what these little cry babies wouldn't stand a chance back when AnuJ and Turoski (Andy) would shut up the spammers back in 2006-2008. Those are two of my favorite Moderators of all time, they didn't f*ck around with people who posted stupid sh*t with smile posts. They would tell you to shut the f*ck up and quit posting stupid f*cking garbage.

I'm not a super old member either (i've been here since '08) but things have changed and stuff has happened.
I mostly stayed in the Gang section (primarily the AoD thread) but sh*t was crazy back then at times. The flame wars were outstanding lol.

Must say though, i havent found a better forum. to Tank and the staff.

I first joined back in 2008. There was a lot of hype about IV, lots of great memories about that, with the leaked live streams of IV a few days before its release etc.

Yeah, the hacking/modding scene was very active during the III - VC era, since it was a wide-open untread turf... by the time San Andreas's dust settled, I think most of the mystery was washed out of the thing, and interest in the inner workings waned significantly.
