Ok, so as i'm a console gamer and hardly know anything about PC gaming I need your help.
I wish to get Tropico 4 for PC as it is quite pathetic on console but that's a whole different story, I've done some looking around for some computers but have not been able to find anything in my price range.

Minimum Required:

Operating System: Windows XP SP3 (32-bit), Vista / 7 (32 or 64-bit)
Processor: 2 GHz Dual Core CPU
Memory: 1 GB RAM
HDD: 5 GB free hard disk space
Graphics: Shader Model 3.0 (Geforce 6600 or higher, Radeon X1600-Series), 256 MB, DirectX 9.0c

Recommended:

Operating System: Windows Vista / 7 (32 or 64-bit)
Processor: 2 GHz Quad Core CPU
Memory: 2 GB RAM
HDD: 5 GB free hard disk space
Graphics: Shader Model 3.0 (Geforce 8800 or higher, Radeon HD4000-Series or higher), 512 MB, DirectX 9.0c
http://www.pcgamer.com/2011/08/05/tropico-...ments-revealed/

I know that prices vary dramatically but I just want to know how much i may be needing to pay.
Thanks

It would help to know exactly what your price range is.
And since you're not in the USA what online sites you can, or plan to, use to buy the parts from.

For $500 most of these computers for gaming are crap especially when it comes to graphics.
Good graphic card are either too expensive and take up a huge chunk of the budget or will
have to lower the settings with upcoming games. In worst case scenario, some may be force to buy a
new video card if the current one can't handle the game they want to play.

A HD7770GHz Edition could be a place to start for graphics.

Chances are you're going to get ripped off unless you're buying one used for $300-400.

IF you build it yourself that would have cost like $500-$600 with monitor and Keyboard included.

I would put together a build for you but i honestly do not have any time to spare right now, perhaps some of the other members here can give you a hand using the sites i provided.

Never mind the fact that Alienware since bought by Dell has become a joke and a waste of money. The X51 is slim case which most likely means it uses a non-standard PSU which means that if the PSU ever goes out or you want to replace it for whatever reason, you're in for a good long hunt with limited results to replace it.

The only X51's on the AU site for Dell are i5s, 2 of them, and starts at $1299AUD. The USA site has the i3 for $699 and only 1 i5 and it's $949. The USA has no monitor, keyboard or mouse. For the AU there is a keyboard and mouse but no monitor.
But wait there's more! According to http://www.xe.com/ucc (currency exchange) $949USD = $955AUD which begs the question, "Where did that extra $344 come from? Or is the keyboard and mouse $172 each?"
