They're almost the same, but I don't think the GPU is good enough. For that price you should get at least a GTX 570. confused.gif

In relation to the second build, there's sod-all point getting the Sabretooth unless you are looking to do some massive overclocks. And for massive overclocks, you'll need water cooling really.

First rig:
- old computer case, there is already a succesor to 310 out on the market - 311;
- CPU overclocking is impossible on this rig.

Second rig:
- very expensive motherboard I seroiusly doubt you need it;
- GPU with weak price/performance ratio, HD7850 is better in that price range;
- HDD is quite slow;
- you don't need 750W for this rig, it's a bit of a waste IMHO.

You can definitely have something way better for that price. £1035 for a PC with GTX560Ti? Sounds like a joke... quite a bad one.

For a grand you could easily have a rig with HD7970 on board, and there was money left for a proper cooling and a SSD too.

You'd be financially much better off building a system yourself. You'll also need to post a full spec on here, because your link doesn't work. At a rough guide, in the circa £1000 area, I would be looking at (as a rough guide) one very similar to the one Yojo2 posted there- though my personal preference would be for a GTX680 or, if I could push it budget-wise (quite a lot, actually), a pair of GTX670s. I'd also consider a Corsair H100 or waiting out for the Cool Master Eisberg 240 to be released instead of air cooling, especially if you intend to overclock (the Eisberg is set to be the closest thing in terms of temps to custom water cooler systems you can get). Costs would stay pretty similar unless you went for a pair of GTX670, which would push the budget up to £1200 or so.

How much? 960 in total? Well you are still getting an overpowered imbalanced motherboard.

Also, you really think you can afford 40 a month when you're earning 50?
You;re digging yourself a hole, you can't afford that.

Anyway lets stay away from personal aye?

Will this build be able to run Max Payne 3 good? On which settings? smile.gif

Also what do you mean by the motherboard is imbalanced??
It's too weak or too powerfull?

You can only take the credit option if your over 18 and working at least 16 hours a week. So unless your parents are doing it you won't be able to get to perform the £40 week payment plan.

I also suggest building yourself as well, it would save you money and its nothing more then an electronic jigsaw puzzle (except easier). I build computers now and then, and upgrade mine when I have the funds. My favorite site for parts is www.scan.co.uk they have every part under the sun, very fast delivery and if your parents are doing it there is also various finance options. Building also good because you start with a blank OS with no f*cking bloatware.

Well it's important that we don't dig you into a hole so you end up with no money will eventually have to return the computer, i was merely making sure, it is now clear you have the necessary funds.

The Motherboard is too powerful and too expensive it has more features than you require as yoyo pointed out.

This. As I've said before, there's no point going for a ~£200+ ultra-overclock-able motherboard unless your doing some ridiculous stuff with it. You could save about 10% of the entire damn build cost by changing the mobo.

I've notice that Asus TUF boards aren't that feature rich compared to their mainstream line up. For the extra cost all you get is that 2 year extra warranty, thermal armor (plastic motherboard cover), and bunch of cooling sensors if you're paranoid about anything going up in smoke.
Get the Asus P8Z77-V Pro or P8Z77-V but this one don't have USB Bios flash back
The Pro has, but it's a small button on the board instead of a button in the rear. The Pro also has 2x USB 3.0 internal header
1 running from the Asmedia and the other running off the Intel PCH. Intel PCH supports Asus UASP

Really? I can only talk about my experiences with TUF motherboards versus RoG series (some of the builds I've done for friends have used the Sabretooth, and my own rig runs a Crosshair IV, and I found that aside from the automatic overclock function and "memtest" button for erasing dodgy memory overclocks, they're pretty much identical. Except the TUF boards all come with 5 or 7 year warranties, which is great.

Comparing the TUF to ROG, they're similar under the hood, but when looked from a visual stand point one can clearly see the ROG has packed more stuffs on to it. For start it has onboard power/reset switches, Debug LED for easier diagnostics, PCIe dip switches, more PCIe x16 slots, more I/O ports. It also has bluetooth, wifi or either both.
I guess in order for the 2 extra year in warranty for the TUF, Asus has to strip as much stuffs as possible, that may fail way before the 5 year warranty expires.
