i cant understand why this happens every time i go to edit the handling dat when i put a mod car in the game crashes it will never start is there a protection file that is doing this i own gta 4 and i never have a problem with that as i am using the old patches but i want the cars in Tbogt any help guys to get this sorted

Which Patch? Old patches need some sort of patcher to mod.

for 1.0.0.0 to 1.0.0.4 (patch 1 to patch 5) u need filecheckfix which makes u able to edit several files without crash. u also need an asi loader to make filecheckfix start.

there's 2 kinds of asi loader, one that disables RGSC and one that just makes the asi mods load.

REMEMBER: only use 1 asi loader, or else it wont work.

place the asi loader and filecheckfix in the GTA IV dir (where u find the GTAIV.exe)

yes i know all about GTA4 i am talking about TBOGT is there a file inside TBOGT that stops you from editing the handling dat i use to mod the hell out of gta4 with car mods and ASI mods but now i am playing just TBOGT i cant understand why is doing this what i am trying to say is i am not a noob do i need to put a file in TBOGT like file check fix ?? this is what i got in my EFLC FOLDER http://postimage.org/image/x3ngsmi85/ and the game works fine as soon as i try to edit handling and carcol the game will crash

ohh wait, forgot u got TBoGT, well, then no need to use filecheckfix, since EFLC doesn't need it

yes what does it need like i say if i edit the handling after i try to play the game will crash its driving me nuts i wish i never sold my GTA 4 with niko every thing worked with him

do you have TBOGT and how do you mod cars into it i have mod cars in it but i did not change the handling if i do that is when the trouble starts
