Hello,

Liberty City Stories and Vice City Stories are two of the few GTA's I haven't played yet. And Why? Because I don't own a PS2 or a PSP!!!

Now I have a question: Are you able to play PSP games on a PS Vita? If the answer is yes, I might consider buying one when the price is cheaper, if the answer is no, I won't be buying a PS Vita at all.

I think the only way is to Download it from PS3 PSN [UK ONLY] and transfer it to PS Vita. You can't play those games in any other way on PS Vita.

There is a glitch to do it. I'm in the US, and I did it for LCS, VCS, and CTW.
For playing any PSP game on Vita:

You need a PS3. If you have the game stored on your PS3, delete it.

1. Download the game you want off of PSN. Don't install it. Leave it in the bubble.
2. Connect your Vita to your PS3 and go into content manager and transfer it onto your PS Vita. Pick transfer PS3 -> PS Vita/Applications/[game your installing]

I bought a PSP, with Liberty City Stories and Vice City Stories.

I haven't seen real evidence that it is playable on Vita, so a PSP for me and no Vita.

Yeah, but PSP is cheaper, ya know.

And by the way, it's a glitch and I don't do glitches. I live in The Netherlands, not in the UK.

I wouldn't say its a glitch, more of a back route. I got LCS, VCS, and CTW on there. You need a PS3 to do it.

Edit: Even if it was a glitch, so what. You will have LCS and VCS on your Vita, and you will have legitamantly payed for it. Sony probably left this bacu route intentionaly.

I just got a PS Vita myself and I'll probably get this, VCS and CTW at some stage. I have LCS and VCS on PS2, but meh I'm a GTA obsessed freak lol.

on PS Vita there is some options for better looking and more touchpad control options and tips like billinear filtering, much more and deeper colors and no tail, like on PSP LCD. Plus you can play with other PSP with wi-fi.

Yes but it requires a USB cable AND Playstation 3.

1. Buy it
2. Download to PS3
3. Transfer to PSVita via USB cable
4. Go onto the vita menu and install it.
5. Done.

Also works for all PSone classics, even non officially supported ones, like spyro for example.

It sucks how you now can only copy PS1/PSP games to PSP/Vita before installing them, before you could just transfer already installed games.
