It's actually not the official trailer, it's just a graphic novel very well produced that may represents the story of the third game.

But I'm very excited for it. I went into the first one but never finished it. Maybe I'll get both again to finish them. And hopefully, EA will talk much more about this next week.

meh, lets hope there's more focus on survival horror this time. DS1 and 2 weren't scary at all, they were trying too hard most of the time, like having DS2 start with a dude turning into a monster right in front of your eyes. No tension, no build up. Just pushing it in your face trying too hard.

Eh, he was a mute in the first game. It was really pathetic how the game always tried to put emotions onto a brick. In the intro, he's watching his girlfriend's message and the guy on the ship says "Oh, look how sad he is. Feel sorry for him." It was fairly stupid. And I felt he was a fairly generic space marine in the second one. Maybe if they retooled him so he could be more well rounded then it would be okay. Or do as the first game and just have him a mute so we immerse ourselves as the character, like Gordon Freeman in HL. I don't know, he's not that memorable other than being named after famous sci-fi writers. That's how I feel anyway.

Can't wait for this. Dead Space and Dead Space 2 are easily in my top favorite games of all time list. It's certainly my favorite horror game franchise. I just hope this one brings back some of the in-space action from DS2.

Loved both games, althought I have yet to finish the second one. I can't remember where I stopped playing, it was one of those moments where I kept doing a certain part over and over again and just stopped playing it because I couldn't get passed it. Watching this makes me want to pick it back up again.

Yes, John Carver is Isaac's partner and players can control him through co-op. However, you can also choose not to play in co-op and Carver won't be around as much, leaving Isaac on his own for the most part like he is in the first two games. So you can choose to go through most of the game alone.
