i just joined a random free mode (FF off) just fun, then all of a sudden this guy with random numbers came in and and started to spawn boats really fast and crashed the server

Rockstar have gave up on this game, which is fair enough as it is over four years old.

So there are no patches to prevent modders, luckily Sony are strong with there counter-actions for modding and GTA is stil clean on PSN.

However Microsoft aren't so tough on modders and it comes down to how the programmers take care of the game, and as said above Rockstar have gave up.

As for People, people are assholes simple.
