true, but i doubt they were connected

if you look at TBOGT's storyline, youll see that ray's more concerned about his own business than the interests of dmitri


plus,l timur and romans kidnapper sound completley different. the kidnapper spoke more clearly and fluently than timur did

Well Roman's kidnapper would have been made before Timur (TLAD before TBOGT), so it could be possible that when it came to creating Timur they decided to base him off the kidnapper, as they thought the look was a good one for Timur.
