So since Inbetweeners only went on for three seasons, I'm looking for other shows that are similar. Basically it has to be comedy and involving teens.

No Skins please btw, at first I thought it was comedy but it took me until season 2 to realise it was a depressing sob story and nothing more.

Try Beaver Falls, it was only six episodes but it was really good!

Fresh Meat. Peep Show. I feel the shows are very similar and share the same humour as The Inbetweeners, You can also try The Inbetweeners US. Probably sucks tho.

EDIT: Also you can watch them all for free on 4OD

Really didn't like Peep Show tbh, seemed very... boring tbh mostly coz of how limited the characters were.

How's Teachers and How Not to Live Your Life? Any similarities to Inbetweeners?

Haven't heard of Beaver Falls btw, will take a look at it.

Fresh Meat seemed very similar to me. You probably couldn't go wrong with that one. I really liked How Not to Live Your Life and I was pretty sad to see it cancel after the third series. It's cheesy but great.

It's a bit of a stretch, but give Misfits a go if you haven't already.

Peep Show like Inbetweeners? ugh, thats a disgrace to Peep Show, that was more of a humourous character study. Inbetweeners is nothing like. Fresh Meat is a good shout.

Peep Show is amazing. It's really great at creating that awkward tension on screen. Also, despite the craziness, the train of though, the internal monologues you hear them say are really spot on. They nail the stupid sh*t that goes on in mens minds when left to their own devices.

Trailer Park Boys is a great one. 3 guys trying to achieve goals but f*cking it up due to their own stupidity or bad timing which makes it similar to The.Inbetweeners but shot like it's a documentary.

Misfits is essential viewing I'd say. Especially if you enjoy the "teenager" comedies.

tbh misfits was only really good for the first 2 seasons. I have no idea what the next season is gong to be like, seeing as theyve gotten rid of more than half the original cast.

Thanks guys, gonna check them all out.

Btw Pink I f*cking love TPB, I actually stopped myself from watching the final season to the end as I was sad that it was going to be over. tounge.gif

Do post any more suggestions you have though, it doesn't really have to be from the UK (even though it seems like most of the US TV today is sh*te and the innovative fresh stuff comes from elsewhere).

Consider this another recommendation for Misfits. It's genuinely hilarious, and the drama content's not too shabby either. The first two seasons are better written (i.e. funnier, better story) but the third season has a much higher budget and a lot more high concept episodes (zombies, Nazis, ghosts n stuff).
